Busy, busy, busy

Actually have a day at home so I'll catch up on my blogging. The last week and a half has been super busy, glad I have time for a little R&R. Even if it is only for a day. ;P

Wow, where to start. Well, I've had my 2 y/o and 7 week old grandkids for a week while my step-daughter had gall-bladder surgery. Surgery went fine, but my Grandson has horrible colic. I feel so sorry for him. Neither one of us got any sleep, finally found that laying him on my chest and keeping him there helped a lot. Hopefully the colic stage is almost over for the poor little guy. My Granddaughter is just laughs all the time and tells stories, she's a barrel of fun. Love that little girl. She tells me "Nana, you my best friend". Too cute! I miss them already.

Also, while this was going on we have our first tornado of the season, it goes right behind my house. We had just left the house to get to the fraidy hole, and ended up driving into the tornado. Yeah, freaky. It was cool to watch, but not while being in a vehicle trying to dodge debris. I was so afraid to go home, well, afraid we would have no home. But everything was still in tact. The tornado had just laid over some small trees east of the house. So lucky!! Tornado season blows. (pun intended) http://www.tornadovideos.net/ The top one was our little tornado.

So Aggravating!

Went to Walmart today, not my favorite place to go, but has to be done. Anyway, doing my shopping and I see this woman in a motorized cart, she has 3 children with her, all of which look like their clothes could stand by themselves. I'm thinking to myself, "Wonder how she takes care of these kids being handicapped?" Well, I go on about my business and see them again in the grocery section. What appears to be the oldest is pushing a buggy and has run over everyone, including me, using us as a speed bump, breaking our ankles and leaving skid marks from the from the buggy wheels all over us. Mother says nothing. Finally, after everyone in the last three aisles now has a permanant limp, the kid hits a display knocking it down. This sends the mother into action. She jumps from the motorized cart like Shawn Johnson from the balanced beam, gliding over to the display to pick up the mess. Also, to scold the child in question for being so clumsy. All the while those of us who have been mowed down like a dog are seething in anger. Yeah, we felt sympathy for her because we thought she was handicapped and trying to take care of 3 children. Not so, she was just lazy. Handicapped people don't move quicker than an olympic gold medalist! Is there no prerequisite for getting one of those motorized carts from Walmart? If you just don't feel like walking one day, ask for a wheelchair! Honestly, no wonder there are so many overweight people in the world. I seldom ever see an elderly person use one of those carts. They can sometimes barely walk, but they still walk under there own power to shop and keep themselves as healthy as possible. That's likely how they've lived this long, taking care of themselves. Sorry for the rant, lazy people just aggravate me, especially when they are role models for children.

Just a side note, this woman was not overweight. And I'm not trying to make fun of people that are overweight. Lets clears that up.

Me Blogging?

Well, I'm surprising even myself by starting a blog. This isn't something I ever thought I would give a try. Though, after reading through a lot of blogs, this seems like a lot of fun and an outlet for random crap that flows through my head at all times. There won't be any rhyme or reason for this blog, just me being random. Kinda like the title, just something that popped into my head and I went with it.

I love to writing and photography, both of which I'm less than amateur at doing, but that doesn't stop me from continuing to try. When you find something you are passionate about don't give up on that passion. Eventually, even if it can only be a hobby, you will have an outlet for your creativity and fulfillment of your dreams. Never give up on your dreams, no matter what your age or situation.

This blog probably won't be updated daily, as I stay extremely busy for someone without a paying job. I keep my Grandchildren on a regular basis, and I drive back and forth to Texas caring for my 84 year old Grandfather several days a week. Plus taking care of a husband, house, and a huge yard in the summer. So, yeah, I would probably do less with an actual job.

This just a little about me, I'm sure you will learn more as this blog takes shape. I hope I don't bore everyone too much.
